    Great Results in Maine

Sunday has been a really great way to take care of our lawn this past year. Ordering the product was easy. This lawn was completely re-seeded with 70-yards of fresh loam in 2021. It didn't look great at the end of last year. Sunday helped it fill in and defy a nasty drought this past summer with no watering. While other peoples lawns were turning brown, our yard was holding on and I think Sunday had a lot to do with it. I'm really pleased with the approach of the products, the ease of use and the results.

      Bangor, Maine FAQs

Traditional lawn care services can cost up to $1500 per year. Sunday offers a more affordable option with custom lawn care plans starting between $55-100, depending on your lawn size. Each plan includes custom lawn fertilizer, a soil test kit and analysis, customizable options for weeds, seeds and pests, and unlimited access to expert Yard Advisors. Sunday delivers everything directly to your door, helping you save hundreds each year compared to traditional services.

Bangor has cool-season grasses that thrive in spring and fall when temperatures are 50-80°F. Spring (March-May) is perfect for first fertilizer and weed control. Summer calls for higher mowing and possible watering during dry spells. Fall (August-October) is best for overseeding and fertilizing. In winter, let grass go dormant and limit traffic on frozen lawns. Sunday's custom plan provides exact timing for each application based on your local climate.

For a greener Bangor lawn without big spending, mow at the right height. Never cut more than 1/3 of the grass blade. Water deeply but less often to build strong roots. Use Sunday's soil test to know exactly what your lawn needs. Apply fertilizer at the right times for cool-season grasses. Target specific weeds rather than treating the entire lawn. Sunday delivers exactly what your lawn needs, when it needs it.

Lawn care focuses on grass health through fertilization, weed control, mowing, and watering. It's about maintaining your existing lawn. Landscaping includes broader yard design with trees, gardens, hardscapes, and outdoor living spaces. Sunday specializes in lawn care with custom plans based on soil test results and local conditions. We make it simple with products delivered right when your lawn needs them.

Start by identifying your grass type. Bangor has cool-season grasses like Kentucky bluegrass or fescues. Note your yard's challenges like shade or high-traffic areas. Sunday's Custom Lawn Plan uses soil testing and climate data to create a personalized approach. Choose products safe for kids and pets, like Sunday's lawn nutrients. Build soil health rather than seeking quick fixes for lasting lawn success.

Bangor lawns face snow mold, dollar spot, and pythium blight during wet periods. Cool-season grasses may struggle with summer heat stress. Winter damage from salt and foot traffic often creates bare patches. Winter weeds like chickweed emerge in early spring. Sunday focuses on building soil health and strong roots to help your lawn naturally resist these common issues rather than just treating symptoms.
