    Minneapolis Lawn

After 2 years of maintaining the lawn on my own, I decided to give Sunday's Smart Lawn Plan a try. I wish I would have switched earlier. Our lawn looks thicker and greener than ever, even with unusually dry spring weather. We had some bare patches, so I combined the lawn treatment with seed and patch repair from Sunday as well with good results.

      Minneapolis, Minnesota FAQs

Professional lawn care services in Minneapolis typically cost $45-65 per visit or $150-200 monthly. Sunday's custom lawn plans start at $55 per season, with multiple nutrient shipments timed for your specific growing season. Plans include fertilizer, soil testing, and expert support, making it a more affordable alternative to traditional services.

The 1/3 rule states you should never cut more than one-third of the grass blade length in a single mowing. This maintains grass health by preventing shock and allowing proper photosynthesis. For example, if your grass is 3 inches tall, don't cut off more than 1 inch.

For a typical residential lawn in Minneapolis (1/4 acre), professional mowing services charge $35-50 per mow. Weekly mowing during peak growing season (May-September) averages $140-200 per month. Factors affecting cost include lot size, terrain, and service frequency.

Keep grass at 3-3.5 inches tall, mow regularly with sharp blades, and leave clippings on lawn as natural fertilizer. Water deeply but infrequently, about 1 inch per week. Apply fertilizer 2-3 times per growing season following soil test recommendations for optimal nutrient balance.

When choosing lawn care in Minneapolis, consider:

      1. Climate-specific expertise for Minnesota's harsh winters and hot summers
      2. Services offered - fertilization, weed control, pest management
      3. Environmentally responsible practices
      4. Professional licensing and insurance
      5. Cost and service frequency
      6. Customer reviews and reputation
