    Works Geat!

The seed worked wonderfully! We had a spot that the dog urine from the winter had killed. We used the seed and it filled in good as new!

    First home lawn

our second summer in our home has been key in recovering our lawn from the previous owner's dog. Lawn is already cohesive. Love the option of spot treatment as we like to keep the pollinators happy where we can.

    Best yard on the block

Best lawn program I’ve ever done. Incredibly easy to use the hose and I can see results in 3-5 days. My neighbor said they haven’t seen our yard so green in the past 15 years. The best results have been in the sunny parts of the yard, whereas the fairly shaded front yard doesn’t seem to get as much love or results. Some sort of “shade mix” fertilizer would be nice.

Everything is so easy to use. Great plan. Great directions. Nutrients worked well during drought. I recommend this to everyone. Greener than when we first moved in.

      Minot, North Dakota FAQs

Minot homeowners face challenges from harsh winters, including snow mold when snow melts. The short growing season means timing is critical. Cold-season lawn diseases like dollar spot and pythium blight can appear during temperature swings. Spring may bring excess moisture, while summer heat can stress lawns. Fall weed control is essential before winter sets in.

For a greener Minot lawn, clear winter debris and apply iron-rich nutrients when soil warms. Seed thin areas when temperatures reach 55-70°F. Mow at proper height with sharp blades and leave clippings to recycle nutrients. Water deeply but less often to promote root growth. Sunday's custom nutrients provide balanced feeding for optimal color.

Start lawn care in Minot when snow melts and soil thaws, typically mid-April. Begin by removing debris and lightly raking matted areas to prevent snow mold. Apply fertilizer when soil warms and grass shows growth. For seeding, wait until daily temperatures average 55-70°F. Fall is equally important for strengthening roots before winter.

Effective Minot lawn care starts with soil testing to understand your yard's specific needs. Cool-season grasses like fescue and Kentucky bluegrass work best. Water deeply but infrequently. Mow at 3-4 inches height. Apply Sunday nutrients when grass actively grows. Address weeds promptly in spring and fall.

Minot's treatment schedules depend on soil temperature, seasonal patterns, and grass growth cycles. The region's shorter growing season demands precise timing. Spring brings rapid growth needing nitrogen. Summer requires water management. Fall applications build root strength before winter. Your soil test results guide nutrient timing.
