Intensely fragrant shrub that’s perfect for containers
Arabian Jasmine is the national flower of the Philippines—often used in Hawaiian leis, and even dried and crushed for fragrant teas. Plus, it’s nice to look at, with bright green foliage and contrasting white pinwheel-shaped flowers in summer.
This fragrant, vining evergreen is sensitive to frost, but overall easy to care for once established. Grow it as a soft, informal hedge or as a statement plant in a zen garden.
