    Great Results in Maine

Sunday has been a really great way to take care of our lawn this past year. Ordering the product was easy. This lawn was completely re-seeded with 70-yards of fresh loam in 2021. It didn't look great at the end of last year. Sunday helped it fill in and defy a nasty drought this past summer with no watering. While other peoples lawns were turning brown, our yard was holding on and I think Sunday had a lot to do with it. I'm really pleased with the approach of the products, the ease of use and the results.

My lawn is looking good. There are still a lot of dandelions spreading throughout the lawn but I just received the container and electric sprayer to use with the container of dandelion doom that I have. I certainly have seen an improvement and I would say my number of stars should really be 4 1/2.

      Buxton, Maine FAQs

In Buxton, ME, start your lawn care routine in mid to late April when soil temperatures consistently reach above 50°F. This is when cool-season grasses wake up from winter dormancy. Begin with a soil test to understand your lawn's needs. Apply pre-emergent weed control before weeds start growing. Sunday times your first shipment perfectly based on local climate data, so you'll get exactly what your lawn needs right when it needs it.

Buxton homeowners typically face winter damage, spring snow mold, and summer drought stress. Maine's acidic soil conditions can limit grass growth. Pests like grubs and moles are common problems. Lawn diseases such as dollar spot and pythium blight appear during humid summer months. Cold temperatures and winter salt damage also stress lawns. These challenges vary throughout the growing season, which is why Sunday's custom plans provide targeted nutrients at the right times.

Sunday designs products with safety in mind, using ingredients that break down quickly rather than staying in your Buxton lawn. After products dry, kids and pets can safely enjoy your yard again. Sunday offers pet-specific products like Pet Patch for spots damaged by dog urine. Their approach uses ingredients you can pronounce, many used by organic farmers, creating a healthier play space without harsh chemicals that could harm your family or furry friends.

For coastal Maine lawns, fine fescue mixes are excellent choices due to their salt tolerance and ability to thrive in the region's climate. Sunday's Shade Select mix works well in areas with partial sun. Kentucky bluegrass offers good cold hardiness for Maine winters. For varied conditions, a mix of fine fescue, Kentucky bluegrass, and perennial ryegrass provides versatility. These cool-season grasses establish best when planted in early fall in Buxton.

Sunday custom lawn care plans for Buxton start between $55-100, with final pricing based on your lawn size and chosen options. Each plan includes custom lawn fertilizer, a soil test kit with expert analysis, and unlimited access to Yard Advisors. You can customize with options for weed control, seeding, and pest management based on Maine's specific needs. Sunday delivers products right when your lawn needs them, saving you hundreds compared to traditional services.
