Living in San Antonio where we are under drought restrictions, managing a lawn is challenging. My Sunday plan supplemented with Drought Defense and Water Focus has produced amazing results on my turf. Add to that the ease and effectiveness of Weed Warrior on my rock beds, this company has a BIG fan.

    Texas Lawn

It is super convenient to have your lawn treatment mailed to your door and ready for application. I find the hints for when and how to apply very helpful as well as the hints for lawn care. With all the news about rising prices of fertilizer I was worried my rates would change just prior to the spring season, but Sunday held the prices for the membership steady. I would love to tell you how great my lawn looks today, but here in central Texas I am just happy my lawn is still alive with the water restrictions in place.

      Corpus Christi, Texas FAQs

Professional lawn care in Corpus Christi can cost up to $1500 annually. Sunday plans are more affordable, starting between $55-100 based on lawn size. Plans include custom fertilizer, soil testing, weed control options, expert advice, and multiple free shipments throughout your growing season.

Sunday's nutrient-rich fertilizers work well in Corpus Christi's warm climate. The Custom Lawn Plan includes products tailored to your soil, post-emergent weed control like Dandelion Doom for broadleaf weeds, and warm-season grass seed options that promote deep root growth and heat resistance.

Water early morning before 10 AM to reduce evaporation. Deep watering 2-3 times weekly is better than daily shallow watering. Adjust based on rainfall and local restrictions. Let soil dry slightly between waterings to encourage deeper roots and drought resistance.

For Corpus Christi lawns: mow higher in summer (3-4 inches), water deeply but infrequently in early morning, apply nutrients based on soil testing, spot-treat weeds instead of blanket applications, and select heat-tolerant grass varieties suited to Texas climate.

Yes, the 1/3 rule applies everywhere, including Corpus Christi. Never cut more than one-third of grass height at once. This is crucial in warm climates where grass needs more leaf surface to withstand heat stress. This practice promotes healthier roots and drought resistance.

Warm-season grasses like St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Zoysia thrive in Corpus Christi's hot climate. These grasses handle heat well, need less water once established, and stay green longer during hot summers. Sunday's soil test can help determine which variety works best for your yard.
