    Disaster to Getting There!

So far so good!! Recently downsized our home and yard. Unfortunately, the new construction home yard was neglected for months and weeds covered the entire area. I was determined to try Sunday and get our Bermuda lawn back from it's disappointing start. Fortunately, with a lot of weed spraying and following MY PLAN, the Bermuda is starting to grow and take over.

Easy system to use. I'm early in the process, but it seems to be working. Grass is getting fuller and greener. I'm looking forward to seeing the results by the end of summer.

    Convenient, natural, beautiful grass

Our lawn is so green and lush, and we love having a more natural option to put on it. We do have to spread a granular pre-emergent for weed control, but living in the South, that is just a necessity--our weeds would take over if we didn't. We love Sunday and tell everyone how easy it is!

      Mobile, Alabama FAQs

Professional lawn care services in Mobile typically cost $45-75 per visit. Sunday's custom lawn plans start at $55 per season, with multiple shipments of fertilizer and optional add-ons like weed control and grass seed. Plans include soil testing, custom schedules, and expert support - making it a more affordable DIY alternative to traditional services.

For a 1-acre lawn in Mobile, professional mowing services typically charge $55-85 per cut. Pricing varies based on terrain, obstacles like trees or landscaping, and mowing frequency. Weekly mowing during peak growing season is recommended for most Mobile lawns.

When choosing lawn care in Mobile, consider your lawn's specific needs and maintenance goals. Key factors include:

      • Climate-appropriate grass types like Bermuda, Zoysia or St. Augustine that thrive in Mobile's hot, humid weather
      • Regular fertilization schedule aligned with growing season
      • Weed control targeting common Mobile weeds
      • Professional vs DIY maintenance based on your time and budget
      • Service provider's knowledge of local conditions and lawn care practices

Look for customized solutions that account for Mobile's unique growing conditions while fitting your maintenance preferences and budget.

Full-service lawn care in Mobile typically includes regular mowing, edging, fertilization, weed control, pest management, and seasonal services like leaf removal. The hot, humid climate requires consistent maintenance from March through November, with bi-weekly or weekly mowing during peak growing season to maintain healthy Bermuda, Zoysia or St. Augustine grass.

A custom lawn care plan can be worth it in Mobile to maintain healthy grass through the intense heat and humidity. Sunday's data-driven approach provides tailored nutrients and guidance specific to Mobile's climate and your soil, while costing less than traditional services. Plus you get expert support whenever needed.

Here are simple ways to save on lawn mowing costs in Mobile:

      • Mow at the right height (3-3.5 inches) to reduce frequency
      • Only cut 1/3 of grass blade length per mowing
      • Mulch clippings back into lawn instead of bagging
      • Maintain equipment properly to avoid repairs
      • Consider sharing equipment costs with neighbors

The 1/3 rule means never cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length in a single mowing. This prevents stress on the grass while promoting deeper root growth and a healthier lawn. For example, if your grass is 3 inches tall, don't cut off more than 1 inch.

The average homeowner in Mobile spends $1,200-2,000 annually on professional lawn care services. Sunday's custom lawn plans offer a more affordable option starting at $55 per season, including fertilizer, soil testing, and expert support - helping Mobile residents save while maintaining a healthy lawn.
