    Texas Lawn

It is super convenient to have your lawn treatment mailed to your door and ready for application. I find the hints for when and how to apply very helpful as well as the hints for lawn care. With all the news about rising prices of fertilizer I was worried my rates would change just prior to the spring season, but Sunday held the prices for the membership steady. I would love to tell you how great my lawn looks today, but here in central Texas I am just happy my lawn is still alive with the water restrictions in place.

    Yard Never Better

I previously used a monthly service for my yard and they were terrible and expensive. I used them for a whole season and they never could get rid of the weeds and usually missed treating all of the yard. Since Ive switched to Sunday my yard has never looked better. Still have some crabgrass I'm fighting with but overall I am extremely happy with the products from Sunday. Highly recommend.

    South San Antonio success

Didn't think it possible to establish a lawn in South San Antonio. Spent a lot on seed, water, other fertilizers with zero success. Each summer it reverted to dirt. 6 months with Sunday and I have grass front and back that remains healthy in even 114 heat.

    South Texas Fan

Living in San Antonio where we are under drought restrictions, managing a lawn is challenging. My Sunday plan supplemented with Drought Defense and Water Focus has produced amazing results on my turf. Add to that the ease and effectiveness of Weed Warrior on my rock beds, this company has a BIG fan.

I am new to the program but my lawn is looking better. The hot summers in Texas are hard on lawns but mine looks better than it has in two years.

      New Braunfels, Texas FAQs

The average cost of professional lawn care services in New Braunfels ranges from $45-85 per visit for a standard quarter-acre lot. Sunday's custom lawn plans start at $55 per season and include fertilizer, soil testing, and expert support - making it a more affordable option than traditional services.

During peak growing season (March-October), mow warm-season grasses like St. Augustine and Bermuda every 5-7 days when actively growing. In winter months (November-February), reduce mowing to every 2-3 weeks. Always follow the one-third rule: never remove more than one-third of the grass blade length in a single mowing.

The 1/3 rule means never cut off more than one-third of the grass blade length in a single mowing. This prevents stress on the grass and promotes healthier growth. For example, if your grass is 3 inches tall, don't cut off more than 1 inch.

When choosing lawn care in New Braunfels, consider these key factors:

      1. Climate-appropriate solutions for warm-season grasses like St. Augustine and Bermuda
      2. Customized fertilizer plans based on your soil needs
      3. Professional expertise and support
      4. Flexible service options that fit your schedule and budget
      5. Environmentally responsible practices that work with nature

Sunday offers personalized lawn plans with expert support and products delivered right to your door, making it a convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional services.

Here are eco-friendly lawn care practices for New Braunfels:

      1. Water deeply but infrequently, ideally early morning, to promote deep root growth
      2. Keep grass height at 3-4 inches to shade soil and reduce water evaporation
      3. Leave grass clippings to naturally fertilize soil
      4. Use targeted fertilizer applications based on soil needs
      5. Spot treat weeds rather than blanket applications
      6. Maintain sharp mower blades to prevent grass stress

Here's how to maintain a healthy lawn in New Braunfels' climate:

      1. Water deeply 1-2 times per week, applying 1-1.5 inches each time. Water early morning to reduce evaporation.
      2. Maintain St. Augustine at 2.5-3 inches and Bermuda at 1.5-2 inches height.
      3. Apply fertilizer in spring and fall when grass is actively growing.
      4. Reduce irrigation in winter when grass is dormant.
      5. Monitor for chinch bugs and brown patch, common issues in hot, humid conditions.

Professional lawn care can provide expertise and convenience, but it's not always necessary. Sunday's custom lawn plans offer a more affordable alternative starting at $55 per season, compared to $45-85 per visit from traditional services.
