The sandy soil composition (92% sand) means lawns need regular fertilizing to maintain proper nutrient levels. While the soil pH is neutral at 7.0, the high sand content affects how water and nutrients move through the soil. A soil test can help track your lawn's specific needs.

Key steps for lawn care in Palm Coast:

    • Water deeply but less often to encourage deep root growth in sandy soil
    • Follow a regular fertilizer schedule to maintain nutrient levels
    • Mow at the right height for your grass type to promote thick growth
    • Add organic matter to improve soil structure and water retention
    • Use weed control products that work with warm-season grasses

    It's A Beautiful Thing

We dropped a well known Florida based lawn and pest control service. We began using Sunday products and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The lawn, it's St. Augustine grass, has never looked better. Very thick and plush green carpet like lawn. Pests are no longer an issue ie bugs, spiders, roaches are all gone. Grubs eliminated in the yard help promote a healthy lawn and fixed the mole problem. Finally, all of this for half of the price I was paying the "experts".
