With soil that's 90% sand, regular fertilizing helps maintain proper nutrient levels for healthy grass growth.
The slightly acidic soil pH of 6.2 works well for most warm-season grasses, but the sandy composition means nutrients can wash away quickly. Here's what helps Pensacola lawns succeed:
- Get a soil test to check nutrient levels
- Follow a custom lawn plan that accounts for local conditions
- Water deeply but less frequently to encourage deep root growth
- Mow at proper height for your specific grass type
Pensacola's lawn care schedule should focus on:
- Regular feeding to maintain nutrient levels in sandy soil
- Careful watering practices, especially during hot months
- Year-round lawn maintenance suited to warm-season grasses
- Following a seasonal plan for fertilizing and grass care

Easier than advertised
Absolutely loving how easy it is to use and how great my lawn looks. I have mostly natural flora with the same mix as my neighbor and my lawn just looks so much better than theirs using Sunday.

It's A Beautiful Thing
We dropped a well known Florida based lawn and pest control service. We began using Sunday products and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The lawn, it's St. Augustine grass, has never looked better. Very thick and plush green carpet like lawn. Pests are no longer an issue ie bugs, spiders, roaches are all gone. Grubs eliminated in the yard help promote a healthy lawn and fixed the mole problem. Finally, all of this for half of the price I was paying the "experts".
