    It's A Beautiful Thing

We dropped a well known Florida based lawn and pest control service. We began using Sunday products and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The lawn, it's St. Augustine grass, has never looked better. Very thick and plush green carpet like lawn. Pests are no longer an issue ie bugs, spiders, roaches are all gone. Grubs eliminated in the yard help promote a healthy lawn and fixed the mole problem. Finally, all of this for half of the price I was paying the "experts".

The smart plan makes it so easy to give your lawn everything it needs, and with the tips and suggestions on the website. - my lawn went from dreary weed patches to super green St. Augustine in no time. You gotta remember to water the lawn in between rainy days, even in Florida.

      Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida FAQs

Ponte Vedra Beach lawn care needs are shaped by its warm climate, sandy soil, and predominantly St. Augustine grass. The coastal location means salt tolerance is important. High humidity creates pressure from pests like chinch bugs and diseases such as gray leaf spot. Rainfall patterns affect watering schedules, while the long growing season requires regular mowing and proper fertilization timing.

In peak growing season (spring/summer), mow St. Augustine grass weekly. Maintain height between 1-3 inches depending on shade levels. Never cut more than 1/3 of the blade at once. During fall, mow about 1 inch taller than summer height to help grass store energy. Adjust frequency based on growth rate, which may require weekly mowing when grass is actively growing.

Water St. Augustine deeply (1" per week) all at once so water reaches the roots. Fertilize with nitrogen-rich nutrients during active growth periods. Mow between 1-3 inches high based on shade conditions. Watch for chinch bugs along lawn borders and gray leaf spot during humid weather. Use caution with weed control products as St. Augustine is sensitive to certain herbicides.

Feed your lawn with Sunday's customized nutrients designed for your soil conditions. Water deeply but less frequently (1" weekly) to promote stronger roots. Maintain proper mowing height for St. Augustine (1-3"). Address pest issues early, especially chinch bugs that cause yellow patches. Fill bare spots promptly to prevent weeds. Apply nutrients during active growth for best results.

Spring: Begin regular fertilization as growth accelerates and monitor for pests. Summer: Focus on proper watering and pest management. Fall: Raise mowing height slightly and continue nutrient applications. Winter: Reduce watering as growth slows, but Florida's warm climate means St. Augustine often stays green year-round, requiring ongoing attention. Sunday's custom plan provides season-specific guidance.
