Lawn Care in Round Rock, TX for Hot Dry Summers
Round Rock lawn care means outsmarting drought and extreme heat before they outsmart you.

Sunday brings smart lawn care to Round Rock
Round Rock sits in Texas hill country where summer heat doesn't mess around. Your soil here runs alkaline with heavy clay underneath (we've analyzed over 300 local lawns to know this firsthand).
That combo can stress even tough warm-season grasses like Bermuda and St. Augustine. Sunday builds custom plans around these exact conditions so your yard gets what it actually needs.
Why Round Rock lawns need a local approach
- Alkaline clay soil requires adjusted nutrient blends
- Warm arid climate calls for drought-smart timing
- Satellite imagery sizes your yard to the square foot
- Proprietary lawn analysis reveals what's hiding in your soil

Round Rock lawns sit on heavy clay soil that holds water tight and drains slow. The alkaline conditions here favor warm-season grasses like Bermuda and St. Augustine, but that dense clay can stress roots during our brutal summers.
What Round Rock lawn care really comes down to
Water deeply but less often to encourage roots to push through that clay. Skip the quick-release fertilizers that burn in alkaline soil. One common mistake? Overwatering because the surface looks dry while clay holds moisture below. Our lawn guides break down the timing that actually works here.

Best Lawn in Years!
We have struggled to keep our lawn up to the standards of our HOA for years and had hired several different lawn companies to do so - they all failed. Our Sunday products, on an annual basis, are less than a couple months of lawn care and our lawn has never looked better!

Our Best TX Lawn
Having owned multiple homes in TX. It’s such a wonderfully simple and seamless solution for my lawn. I don’t have to stress about which product is “the right one“ or when “the right time” is to apply. Our yard has never looked better! My spouse and I look at our lawn everyday and say with confidence “looks great!” I recommend it to everyone!

Awesome product
This product is better than any in person service. It allows people who love to work on their own laws, but need professional help to do so to take care of their own lawns.

Texas Lawn
It is super convenient to have your lawn treatment mailed to your door and ready for application. I find the hints for when and how to apply very helpful as well as the hints for lawn care. With all the news about rising prices of fertilizer I was worried my rates would change just prior to the spring season, but Sunday held the prices for the membership steady. I would love to tell you how great my lawn looks today, but here in central Texas I am just happy my lawn is still alive with the water restrictions in place.

Growing grass in Round Rock
Round Rock's alkaline clay soil and scorching summers make lawn care feel like a test of patience. But the right warm-season grass (think Bermuda, zoysia, or St. Augustine) actually thrives here once established.
Your spring seeding window is shorter than you think
Mid-April through mid-May is prime time to get seed or sod in the ground before the real heat arrives. Prep matters: loosen that clay, water deeply but less often, and resist the urge to fertilize too early. The most common mistake? Shallow daily watering that keeps roots weak and thirsty.
