Your lawn can handle California drought. Really.
California Drought Defense Lawn Treatment is a 0-0-1 NPK liquid fertilizer that helps soil hold water instead of running off. A surfactant tackles dry spots and brown patches. Seaweed, potassium, and humic acid handle the heat. No pesticides, no NPEs. Pair with Lawn Aid or a custom plan.
What makes California Drought Defense Lawn Treatment different
- 0-0-1 NPK formula built for drought resilience
- Surfactant helps soil absorb water, not waste it
- Hooks up to your hose, done in 15 minutes
- Works on all common grass types
- Can reduce water usage by up to 20%
- Made without pesticides or harmful NPEs
Ingredients
Wetting agent (surfactant): Helps water penetrate soil instead of pooling on top or running off. This is especially useful for soil that repels water, a common problem in California lawns during drought.
Seaweed and potassium: Helps your grass tolerate heat and recover from stress. Think of it as giving your lawn the tools to stay green when temperatures spike.
Humic acid: Improves how well roots absorb nutrients from the soil. Healthier roots mean a lawn that holds up better through dry conditions.
How to use
Apply before drought conditions hit. Best in early morning or late evening when your lawn is well hydrated.
- Connect the sprayer. Attach the included hose-end sprayer to the pouch and hook it up to your garden hose.
- Spray evenly across your lawn. One pouch covers 1,000 to 2,500 sq ft. Two pouches cover 2,500 to 5,000 sq ft. All three cover up to 7,500 sq ft. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes per pouch.
- Water thoroughly after applying. Give your lawn a good soak right after you finish. Once the product dries, you're good to go back on the grass.
- Reapply every 4 weeks from spring through fall. You can apply up to 8 times per year. Let the liquid fertilizer dry completely before applying other Sunday products.
