Ingredients

The active ingredient is FeHEDTA, a chelated form of iron. It overwhelms broadleaf weeds while your grass absorbs it gradually and uses it as a nutrient. That is why weeds brown out and your lawn greens up.

How to use

Apply between 50 to 85 degrees F when no rain is expected for 3 or more hours.

Pour one full bottle of concentrate into the reusable pouch and attach the sprayer.
Fill pouch to the 1-gallon mark with your hose. Secure cap and shake well.
Spray onto weeds until all leaves are entirely covered.
Repeat in 3 to 4 weeks, or as needed. Store your sprayer and pouch for future use.

When should I apply Dandelion Doom to my lawn?

Dandelion Doom works best when applied between 50 to 85 degrees F on a dry day with no rain expected for 3 or more hours.

The longer it sits on the weed leaves, the better. Spring and fall are the most common times to spray, when broadleaf weeds are actively growing.

Will Dandelion Doom damage my grass?

Dandelion Doom is a selective broadleaf herbicide, so it targets weeds while leaving grass alone.

Grass absorbs iron slowly and tolerates higher amounts. Weeds take in too much iron too quickly, which causes them to dry out. Your lawn may actually look greener after application.

absolutely nothing was killed

its been a week after I have used your products, killed absolutely nothing. Followed instructions, and looks like I got more flowers instead of killing them.

While not mandatory, sunshine will improve the efficacy and speed of our herbicides. With sunshine unfiltered by clouds, our herbicides will work even better. A rainfall within 3 hours after application can make the herbicides ineffective. Optimal temperatures for application are between 50F to 85F. 2.) Apply when the weeds look healthy. When weeds are stressed or injured, weeds release hormones to recover. These hormones make herbicides less effective. Hormones are also released if weeds are mowed; we recommend not applying on the same day you mow. 3.) Apply the leaves liberally. Our herbicides just need to make contact with the leaves to work; trying to apply to the roots won't be effective. For best results, you want the leaves soaked, but not to the point where the herbicides is dripping off the leaves. 4.) Know the age of the weed. Older and established weeds will likely require more applications. For older weeds, we recommend doing multiple applications on the same day; just let the leaves dry out in-between applications.

Kills but Stains concrete

Works on some. weeds - but WARNING!!!!! DO NOT DO IT NEAR CONCRETE! it stains thw comcrete. . not evwn a power washer can remove the stains . UGHHHHH & the cocmrete is only 5 yrs old. . new home 2020. . . now with orange lines. . . not a happy caamper!!!!

What does it kill??

So far, I've yet to find a weed that this will actually kill. I've used it in bright sunlight. I've given it time to let them die. I've used an ample application. But nothing is dying. Did I buy a worthless product?

Not for crabgrass

This product did absolutely nothing for our crabgrass problem. I was hoping to use all Sunday products since they seem to be safer, but I may have to resort to a different herbicide for the crabgrass

Thank you for sharing your experience! Dandelion Doom is an effective weed control option for broadleaf weeds, but it does not address grassy weeds like crabgrass. Crabgrass can be tricky, particularly because it's so biologically similar to turfgrass! Crabgrass germinates in the summer and thrives in even the toughest of conditions, so it's important to treat the issue as soon as you see it! Our non-selective herbicide, Weed Warrior, will be the most effective option when treating crabgrass and other similar growth. Just be careful when using it within your lawn, since it damages healthy grass as well if sprayed directly on it!

Waste of money

ALL of the dandelions I treated came back up within a few weeks. Every one. I spend a lot of money on this stuff. I recommend the Fiskars stand up weeder. WAY more effective and less expensive. If you have a big yard like we do, this stuff just won’t do it. If you have a small yard, and can reapply ...
