Kill weeds, not your lawn
Weed & Green prevents and eliminates weeds while giving you a greener, thicker lawn.
Our dual-action pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control makes eliminating weeds as easy as watering your lawn. Its powerful iron (FeHEDTA) formula quickly greens up your lawn while preventing crabgrass and broadleaf weeds like dandelions from germinating in early spring. It continues to control weeds in your lawn from spring through fall, leaving it healthier and more vibrant than before.
Effective as a pre-emergent against crabgrass and as a pre- and post-emergent on broadleaf weeds like black medic, plantain, thistle, chickweed, creeping buttercup, creeping charlie, dandelion, geranium sp., English daisy, false dandelion, healall, oxalis, speedwell sp/, knotweed, shepherd’s-purse, silverweed cinquefoil, white clover, wild chamomile, as well as moss, liverworts, algae and lichens. It can also control or suppress lawn diseases: dollar spot, rust and/or snow mold.
At Sunday, we create lawn solutions without harsh chemicals—so you can return to enjoying your lawn faster.

Helpful Tips from Yard Advisors:
How does Weed & Green work?
Grass and weeds absorb iron differently. Weeds quickly take in too much iron, which becomes toxic and kills them. Grass absorbs iron more slowly and can tolerate higher amounts. This difference allows us to target weeds effectively and safely while giving your lawn a healthy, deeper green color.
What weeds can I use Weed & Green on?
Weed & Green can be used as a pre-emergent for crabgrass and broadleaf weeds, and as post-emergent for broadleaf weeds, moss, algae, and lichen. It will help to suppress lawn diseases* including dollar spot, rust and snow mold.
*Not for use in California
While it’s effective as a pre-emergent on crabgrass, it won’t control existing crabgrass.
Will this preemergent cause discoloration to dormant lawns?
Weed and Green can be applied before or after weeds begin to emerge. This might mean you’re applying to a dormant lawn - or grass that’s not yet green and actively growing. If your lawn is dormant, Weed & Green may cause temporary discoloration of grass. But don't worry! Any grayish or brown color is temporary, and grass will return to its natural green as it grows.
What’s pre-emergent herbicide? What’s post-emergent herbicide?
A pre-emergent weed killer is designed to prevent weeds from sprouting above ground and works by targeting weeds as they germinate underground.
A post-emergent weed control controls weeds and other plants after they emerge from the soil.
Is there a difference between pre-emergent and post-emergent applications for Weed & Green?
Yes! Temperature and application frequency matter.
- For pre-emergent control: Apply when soil temps reach 50-55 degrees F, and reapply 3-6 weeks later up to 2 times per year in the same area.
- For post-emergent control: Apply anytime from spring through fall, and repeat treatment every 3-4 weeks up to 4 times per year in the same area.
Are there any US states where this is not approved for use?
Approved in all states, except CA (pending).

Since Weed & Green is designed for turfgrass, we recommend taking care when spraying around any other plants.
