Instructions:

Connect the hose-end sprayer to the Pet Patch pouch. Spray evenly across damaged areas for 15 seconds or the entire lawn for preventive care. Let it dry fully.
Apply Pet Lawn Bare Repair over bare patches or thin areas according to the recommended rate on the label.
Water newly seeded spots 1-2 times daily until germination, then resume a normal watering schedule.
Reapply Pet Patch and Bare Repair as needed for sustained lawn health and resilience.

When is the best time to apply this kit?

For the best results, apply Pet Patch between 50 and 85 degrees F, typically in the early morning or evening.

Seed Bare Repair Pet Lawn when daily temperatures consistently hold between 55-75 degrees F, usually in the spring and fall.

When is it safe for people and pets to reenter the area after applying my kit?

It’s safe for people and pets once all products have dried. If you have an extra curious pup, consider fencing off growing areas to protect new seedlings.

When can I expect to see results?

Bare repair worked really well

We scratched up the dead patches really well and applied the bare repair seed in most spots. We hand watered it about twice a day. It sprouted quickly and really took. Where we had run out of bare repair, we used some other seed from the hardware store mixed with soil and that stuff sprouted just a little and not quickly.

Ok product but didn't resolve my lawn issues

I am sure this product works fine. It was recommended to me after speaking with SUNDAY lawn care support employees. I don't think they quite understood my request and concerns thoroughly and recommended the wrong product to treat the issue. I believe looking back, my lawn was facing drought conditions, preventing growth in some areas.

Didn’t do a thing

Applied the kit according to instructions and we were very diligent about watering but not a single new blade of grass grew in our bare spots. The amount of product in the jug also doesn’t go as far as you would think it would (our kit was one jug and two pouches but now I see it advertised as the opposite). Q: I like this model of lawn care but I want ZERO pesticide/herbicide. Is there a plan for me?

A: Good question! Sunday nutrients will improve soil health, encouraging thicker and fuller grass growth. Our fertilizer pouches/bags do not contain any herbicides, so they alone will not directly treat existing patches of weeds. If you select our Basic Plan, it will not include weed or pest control.

Q: What is the water to Pet Patch liquid ratio so I can mix it in a bucket or spray bottle? Connecting the hose every time isn’t feasible for me.

A: We cannot make specific recommendations for any application method besides the sprayer included with your Sunday order.

However, we can share with you that our pouches are dispersed at a rate of 75:1, or about 1.5 ounces (3 tablespoons) per 1 gallon of water. If using a pull behind trailer/tank combo, you'll need about 25 gallons of water to properly disperse one full nutrient pouch.
