How do annual plans work?

Sunday’s Tick Protection Plan is a comprehensive solution for tick control and reduction. One simple shipment contains a year’s worth of products to repel and control ticks for immediate relief. You’ll also get a personalized checklist with optimal application timing and key prevention actions to effectively reduce tick activity based on your region. When combined, this holistic approach can effectively reduce tick presence in your yard.

How should I apply my products?

Follow your custom My Plan Checklist (located on your account page) for Nix Ticks application dates, product instructions, and seasonal pest prevention actions.

For best results, spray in an up-and-down motion to cover your protected lawn area, trees, mulch, and bushes until all foliage is just fully wet, but not soaked.

How do I use it alongside a Sunday lawn plan?

Ideally, apply all lawn products before pest control products and allow for drying time in between applications. Always allow pest control to dry for a few hours before doing anything else to the lawn to avoid interfering with the product’s ability to repel properly.

How long will it last?

Our Tick Protection Plan offers you a full year of tick control and protection - meaning you’ll be covered for peak tick activity from early spring to late fall.

Nix Ticks applications will be effective for up to 2-4 weeks depending on your climate (effective longer in dry climates).

What products are in my plan?

Nix Ticks is a 25(b) minimum risk pesticide made from cedarwood oil (17%) to repel and kill ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes on contact. 1 bottle covers about 5,000 sq. ft.

What safety precautions should I follow?

Do not apply on flowering plants or near areas where bees and other pollinators are active.

NiX Ticks

I have used 2 applications this summer. I just ordered a 3rd learning that a monthly application is recommended. We have 2 dogs and have had no issues with fleas or ticks this summer. Last week my wife had to go into my neighbors yard due to a fallen tree and said she got eaten up. That has not happened in our yard this summer.

Relief from Ticks

We live in an area where ticks are a HUGE issue and we started using Nix Ticks this summer in our backyard and saw quite an improvement immediately. Now we can at least enjoy spending time outdoors!

Nixes the ticks.

I applied about half of the bottle of this product to my lawn (roughly 1,500 sq ft) in the spring, expecting to spray another application later in the summer. From what I can observe, my yard has remained tick-free since then. I'll likely spray again in the fall to be safe. My dog appreciates that it is a pet-friendly product!

The proof is in the pudding as they say. Last year I had 7 ticks that attached to me. Had to be checked for lymes. This year I had 1 and that was before i used Nix Tciks. I have 3 small dogs. Last year they had too many to count. This year they had none. So it must be working great!

As someone with two small

Works!

Seems to work very well for mosquitos. Not sure about ticks but I have not seen any so that is good, Very easy to apply and I really like the smell from the cedar oil.

Significant decrease in tick population!

Nix Ticks Works Great!!!

Nix Ticks worked really well for my yard. The back half of my yard is wooded and every time I walked near there, I picked up at least two ticks. After using Nix Ticks I haven’t encountered one tick. Super easy to use and smells fantastic when applying.

Tick free summer!

Keeping Summer Bugs Away

I have fir trees on 2 sides of my backyard, which tend to attract the mosquitoes around Dusk. Switched to Sunday products this season because the kids want to be outside in the yard every day. Sprayed this product on the yard perimeter, then enjoyed the gentle aroma and lack of mosquitoes in the yard. Have not had any ticks either.

A: We don't recommend applying to plants that you intend to eat; while made from ingredients that are better for the planet, Nix Ticks is not designed to be ingested.

A: Nix Ticks can be applied to yards with wells safely when applied as directed (or according to the label). Avoid spraying near surface water or around the opening of the well, as the product isn't designed for aquatic use.

A: Here are the best practices to protect your chosen zone from pests:
- Ticks: Spray shady areas where ticks can hide from direct sunlight, including woods, trees, and bushes. Focus on the area where the shade meets the lawn, spraying at least a 12-foot wide protective barrier.
- Mosquitoes: Spray shaded and damp areas where mosquitoes can breed, under decks, shrubs, bushes, and ground cover.
- Fleas: Spray low, dark corners and wood piles where fleas may leave larvae, and spray several feet along the border between your lawn and any brushy, wooded areas.
