    When to apply WonderFert All-Purpose

Fertilize plants when they're actively growing. For best results, time your feeding based on plant lifecycles in your garden:

    • Trees and shrubs: spring* (not fall)
    • Perennials: spring through summer*
    • Vegetables: throughout the growing season*
    • Indoor plants: spring through fall

*As long as plants aren't stressed

Outdoor plants can be fertilized every 4–6 weeks throughout the growing season. Indoor plants can be fertilized from spring through fall.

    How to apply WonderFert All-Purpose

    Hose-end application

Like our lawn fertilizers, WonderFert All-Purpose has a custom hose-end sprayer, but this one’s created especially for gardens and is gentler on delicate, growing garden plants.

    1

    Prep the container

Shake well. Then remove the cap and attach the sprayer nozzle

    2

    Attach your hose

Hook up your hose to the garden sprayer nozzle. Then turn on the water and open the valve to spray.

    Sunday Tip:

Use your WonderFert garden sprayer to apply. The custom-engineered hose-end sprayer included with WonderFert All-Purpose is more gentle—intended for garden plant use—and is different from our lawn fertilizer sprayer.

    3

    Apply to soil

Apply to the soil around the base of the plant from a distance of 3-4 feet for about 4-5 seconds. Make sure the topsoil is moistened.

    4

    Water it in

Water after application for several seconds per plant—just make sure to avoid pooling or excess runoff.

    5

    Repeat every 4–6 weeks

For best results, repeat every 4–6 weeks during the growing season or as needed.

    Watering can application

You can follow the same steps outlined above, but instead of a hose, you'll use a watering can to apply. Here's how:

    1. Add WonderFert Purpose to the watering can. Add 1 tablespoon of WonderFert per gallon of water for outdoor plants, or ½ tablespoon per gallon of water for house plants. Be sure to use a separate set of utensils from those used for food prep!
    2. Mix well.
    3. Apply to the soil around the base of the plant for about 4-5 seconds.
    4. Repeat every 4–6 weeks during the recommended application window and growing season as needed.

    WonderFert All-Purpose Garden Fertilizer FAQs

What is WonderFert All-Purpose Garden Fertilizer?

WonderFert All-Purpose is a liquid garden fertilizer concentrate designed for any garden or landscape plant.

It provides slow-release nitrogen for leafy and sustained growth, along with targeted phosphorus and potassium levels to promote flowering and fruiting.

How do I use WonderFert with other Sunday products?

Ideally, apply garden fertilizer after planting when plants are actively growing and leafing out.

Remove and treat as many pests and weeds as possible before applying garden fertilizer. Otherwise, you’ll be feeding the weeds and not resolving a pest issue that can damage plants long-term. The garden doesn’t need to be perfect to fertilize, but the fewer weeds and pests, the better.

    • OMRI-listed herbicidal soap
    • Ideal for mulched beds and gardens
    • Results in 20 minutes

What if I apply out of order?

Suppose you apply WonderFert All-Purpose before weed control products—simply water in the garden fertilizer, and wait 24 hours before removing and treating weeds. If applying both of the liquid products in a single area, allow 24 hours between each liquid application for the products to work best.

How and where do I store it?

Store this product sitting upright with the cap closed tightly. Do not store in excessive heat or freezing temperatures. You can reuse multiple times, but shake well before each use for the best results.
