Sunday product label FAQs
What's on a Sunday product label?
Four sections to know:
Guaranteed Analysis: the nutrient ratio (those three numbers like 22-0-3)
Ingredients & Derived From: the ingredient list of macro- and micronutrients, plus the good stuff like seaweed extract, molasses, and more.
Application Guide: how much, how to, and when to apply
Safety Information: what you need to know to stay safe while applying
What do the three numbers on fertilizer mean?
Those numbers are the NPK ratio: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
- Nitrogen fuels green, leafy growth
- Phosphorus supports root development
- Potassium builds stress tolerance and resilience
A label like 22-0-3 means 22% nitrogen, 0% phosphorus, and 3% potassium.
Why do Sunday fertilizers have zero phosphorus?
Most established lawns don't need added phosphorus. Soil usually has enough already, and excess phosphorus can run off into waterways and cause problems. We only include it in plans when a soil test shows your lawn actually needs it, or you're starting a lawn from scratch.
How do I know which product to use?
Your Custom Lawn Plan matches products to your soil, climate, and grass type. Each product is timed for when your lawn needs it most.
Not sure which products you need?
We use satellite data to map your lawn and build a plan around your soil, climate, and grass type. No guesswork.
