Fescue Rescue is a tall fescue grass seed mix built from three premium turf-type cultivars. Ingredients

Turf-type tall fescue variety 1, selected for dark green color and deep root development. Turf-type tall fescue variety 2, selected for drought tolerance and disease resistance. Turf-type tall fescue variety 3, selected for wear tolerance and insect resistance. Individual cultivar names are proprietary and not listed on the product label. All three are A-LIST approved.

How to use

Plant in spring or fall when temperatures stay between 55 to 75 degrees F. You can also dormant seed in winter below 40 degrees F.

Prep your soil. Rake to loosen the top layer and remove debris so seed makes good contact with dirt.
Spread your seed. For overseeding, use 2 lbs per 1,000 sq ft. For new lawns or heavy repair, use 8 lbs per 1,000 sq ft.
Cover lightly. Rake a thin layer of soil or compost over the seed. You want contact, not burial.
Water consistently. Keep the soil moist (not soaked) until you see sprouts. Expect them in 6 to 12 days.
Hold off on mowing. Let your new grass reach about 3 to 4 inches before the first cut.
