Ingredients

Pet Lawn Grass Seed: Premium fescue and perennial ryegrass blend, A-LIST certified with a 99.9% weed-free guarantee.

Dandelion Doom Herbicide Concentrate: Active ingredient FeHEDTA (iron chelate). Controls broadleaf weeds, moss, algae, and lichens. Suppresses lawn diseases like dollar spot, rust, and snow mold.

How to use

Best results when temperatures are 55 to 75 degrees F for seeding and 50 to 85 degrees F for weed control.

  1. Assemble the herbicide starter kit with the reusable pouch, concentrate, and battery-operated wand sprayer. Apply Dandelion Doom directly to weeds, fully covering all leaves for full control.
  2. Wait 24 hours before seeding.
  3. Lightly rake the lawn to ensure seed touches soil. Apply seed evenly across bare and thin areas. Each 5 lb bag covers up to 2,500 sq ft for overseeding, both bags together cover up to 5,000 sq ft.
  4. Water daily or as needed to keep soil moist but not saturated. Expect germination in 7 to 14 days.
  5. Reapply Dandelion Doom every 3 to 4 weeks as needed.

    Finally strong, durable, green grass!!

    Finally grass!!

    I have two dogs that go in the same spot, creating bare spots all over. We have tried top brands of grass seed the last two years and nothing grew. Sunday pet lawn finally did it. I am soo happy to see grass in our bare spots again. I used sunday pet patch fertilizer before planting seed. Make sure to water very good twice a day and it did take a week before grass sprouted, but it was worth it. My yard is also partial shade.

    Bad germination

    I’ve now planted this in many bare spots and in just about every area I’m only getting about a 20% germination rate. The areas were raked in and covered with a bit of topsoil. All areas were water 2-3x daily depending on weather.

    Excellent Pet Friendly Seed

    This pet friendly seed is amazing! My yard was so "jacked-up" with about 35% of it suffering significant sized bare spots where watering had no effect. After applying this seed all over the yard (and putting peat-moss over it with a roller), my yard became a lush green and those bare spots disappeared. It took a minute for the seed to sprout but I'd forgotten about it and next thing I know I had a beautiful yard like I hadn't seen in years. Thanks Sunday! I sing your praises to all that compliment my yard. (Tried to find my before and after pics but must be on one of my tablets. Will upload later if found)

    This seed is contaminated

    This seed came with my lawn care plan. I put it down in Fall of last year, and now I have poa trivialis all over my lawn. Thanks Sunday!!! I'm quitting you.

    Disappointed

    I used & cared for this grass seed exactly as directed but absolutely nothing grew. I am disappointed, because we have a large dog that runs *hard* around the yard and there were a few spots (her turning points) that we just mud/dirt and I really wanted a nice, strong grass in those spots.

    Not so good

    Having a hard time keeping up with my Beagle’s tracks , a lot of brown spots.

    Ripoff

    I used two bags of this stuff on a 600 sq ft area and attained less than desirable results on my backyard. I used a different local seed on my front yard and got way better results. This moisture boost coating is all non-sense. Half the bag is that junk so that means you only get 1. 5 lbs of seed on a 3lb bag. It also looks like either they've copied this formula or have X-Seed make this for them. Either way Sunday lawn care is a waste of money. Less seed for the price and less results for the money.

    No growth

    I signed up for the Sunday yard care plan and added this as I have a pup now who’s killing my yard. I followed the instruction and even added the extra of putting down some fresh topsoil before applying the seed and over a week in I have no germination anywhere. It hasn’t been overly hot and I’ve watered daily as they recommend and I’m very disappointed in the results.

    Minimal Germination

    Tried to patch multiple spots throughout small yard in SoCal, but minimal germination at best. I used a big box store brand to compare and it worked fine. Sunday products are not efficacious.
