Best practices to apply Sunday lawn fertilizer liquid and granular
Best practices to apply Sunday liquid fertilizers:
- Optimal temperatures are between 50°F and 85°F for the fertilizer to be most effective
- Only apply to well-watered soil. If your lawn is dry, water it several hours before applying. Avoid applying if rain is expected within 24 hours
- Apply Sunday in the early morning, or in the evening if morning application isn't possible
- Only apply to grass that is actively growing and not showing signs of stress or dormancy
- Do not mow for at least two days after a Sunday application, but it's OK to apply Sunday right after mowing
- Let Sunday dry before resuming activity on the lawn—this may take 4 to 24 hours, depending on sun and temperature
- In high heat, water your lawn again the day after applying the fertilizer
- Follow directions closely and do not overapply
Best practices to apply Sunday granular fertilizers:
