    DD does the job!

Dandelion Doom- by the name itself you are expecting maybe Dragon’s breath when you start applying this product but unfortunately that is not the case! You do get a product that really works. You may need to reapply in some areas but it does do the job and is not harmful to the good stuff you are trying to grow! The pictures do not reflect a lawn that is in better shape. We are in drought and no watering for the last three weeks.

    Let's get started

      Geneva, Illinois FAQs

Traditional lawn care services in Geneva, IL can cost up to $1500 yearly. Sunday's custom lawn care plans offer a more affordable alternative, starting between $80-100 based on your lawn size. Plans include custom lawn fertilizer, a soil test kit with expert analysis, and unlimited access to Yard Advisors. You can add options for weed control, seeding, and pest management based on your lawn's needs. Many Geneva homeowners save hundreds each year with Sunday's DIY approach.

Choose a lawn care approach that matches Geneva's specific climate and your lawn's needs. Start with a soil test to identify nutrient deficiencies. Sunday's custom plans use local data including soil type, climate, and lawn size to create a tailored solution. Consider your main goals: basic nutrition, weed control, overseeding, or pet-friendly options. Sunday's plans address these needs with targeted products delivered at the right times for Geneva's growing season.

The ideal time to start lawn care in Geneva, IL is early spring when soil temperatures reach around 55°F, typically in March or April. This is when grass emerges from winter dormancy and begins active growth. Sunday's custom plans time deliveries based on Geneva's specific climate data. Your first shipment will include fertilizer tailored to spring needs and a soil test kit. For cool-season grasses common in Geneva, spring and fall are key treatment windows.

The 1/3 rule means never cutting more than one-third of the grass blade height in a single mowing. This rule is very relevant for Geneva lawns. Cutting too much at once stresses grass and can lead to weak, thin turf that's more likely to get weeds. For Geneva's common cool-season grasses, maintain a 3-4 inch height during summer to promote deeper roots and drought resistance. Mow regularly with sharp blades for best results.

A complete lawn care program for Geneva, IL should include seasonal fertilization timed for spring green-up and fall recovery. Add pre-emergent weed control in early spring and post-emergent treatments as needed. Include overseeding in fall to thicken your lawn. Geneva's climate requires proper watering practices, especially during hot summers. Sunday's custom plans deliver all these components with the right timing based on local weather patterns.

Achieve a greener Geneva lawn by following Sunday's science-backed approach. Start with a soil test to identify nutrient needs. Apply custom fertilizers when grass is actively growing. Water deeply but less often to build stronger roots. Mow high, following the 1/3 rule. Overseed in fall to create a thick lawn that naturally resists weeds. Sunday's custom plans deliver nutrients when your Geneva lawn needs them most.
