Your drought resistant lawn starts here
Heat Tolerant Seed + Feed is a heat tolerant grass seed, fertilizer, and soil conditioner combo for cool-season lawns in transition zones. The 9-0-2 NPK formula feeds growth and helps your turf handle summer heat, while limestone, gypsum, and dried poultry waste build healthier soil over time. Great for overseeding thin lawns or repairing heat-stressed turf alongside Fescue Rescue.
What makes Heat Tolerant Seed + Feed different
- 9-0-2 NPK with potassium for heat stress tolerance
- Seed, fertilizer, and soil conditioner in one bag
- Apply in 20 minutes or less, no extra tools needed
- Tall fescue blend made for transition zone lawns
- Zero pesticides, just the good stuff
- Results in as few as 8 days
Ingredients
Tall fescue grass seed blend. A mix of heat-tolerant fescue varieties bred to handle high temps and bounce back from summer stress.
9-0-2 fertilizer blend. Nitrogen fuels new grass growth. Potassium helps your lawn stand up to heat and drought.
Limestone. Helps soil pH so nutrients actually reach your grass roots instead of sitting locked in the dirt.
Gypsum. Helps compacted soil and improves drainage without changing pH. Roots grow deeper, grass gets tougher.
Dried poultry waste. A slow-release organic nitrogen source that feeds your soil biology over time, not just the grass on top.
How to use
Apply when daily average temps are between 60 and 75 degrees F. Early fall or late spring tend to be the sweet spot.
- Mow your lawn and remove clippings before you start.
- Apply at a rate of 10 lbs per 1,500 sq ft. Two bags cover up to 3,000 sq ft total.
- Water lightly after application. Keep soil moist but not saturated until new grass reaches about 2 inches tall.
- Expect to see results in 8 to 21 days depending on conditions.
- Reapply every 6 weeks during the growing season, up to 4 times per year.
