How to apply Fire Ant Fighter
Read full instructions and precautionary statements on the product label before use. Note: Extremely large colonies may take a bit longer or require reapplication.
Mound application
Apply 4 tablespoons to small mounds and 6 tablespoons for mounds that are 15 inches in diameter or larger.
Lawn broadcast application
Using a handheld spreader or just sprinkling with a scoop, apply at a rate of 1/3 to 2/3 cup per 1,000 sq. ft. During warmer months, apply every other month to keep new mounds from forming.
Sunday Tip:
Apply when ants are active (usually when temps are warmer than 60 degrees Fahrenheit). Fire and harvester ant foraging peaks in the cooler early morning or late evening hours.

Fire Ant Fighter Application FAQs
When should I use Fire Ant Fighter?
Pest control will likely need to be repeated throughout the growing season. The best time to treat ant issues is when they’re small. Treat ants preventively across the lawn or home barrier, or reactively by placing bait in foraging trails or near mounds, as directed.
How do I use this with other Sunday products? Why should I apply in this order?
Apply all Sunday liquid lawn and pest repellent products before applying dry pest baits. Why? This product attracts feeding ants that will take the bait back to their colony to feed on. It will only attract ants when dry so it’s important not to get it wet—or to reapply it if it does get wet. If you’re treating an ant mound within your lawn, you should avoid seeding that area until the bait has been consumed—about 1-2 weeks.
What if I apply out of order?
If you’re ready to apply a liquid product when bait is already on the ground, then you should avoid spraying the bait-treated areas. If you accidentally get them wet, then it’s best to reapply the bait once the liquid has dried.
