Tick spray for yard safety
Ticks love tall grass, shady spots, and (unfortunately) your pet’s fur and backyard. Sunday’s minimum risk tick spray helps repel ticks without harsh chemicals or complicated routines. Plant-powered cedar oil formulas repel and eliminate ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes, then keep working for weeks.

Your tick yard spray questions answered
Q: Is it safe for kids and pets, and how soon can they return to the yard?
A: Yes, Nix Ticks is safe for kids and pets when used as directed. Let the treated area dry completely before everyone heads back outside. For pet-specific products, test on a small area first to check for sensitivity to cedarwood oil.
Q: How long does protection last, and how often should I reapply?
A: Nix Ticks works up to 4 weeks in dry climates. For best results, apply twice within the first 7 days to establish your pest barrier, then reapply every 2–4 weeks or after heavy rain.
Q: What area does one bottle treat, and what sprayer do I need?
A: One 32 oz bottle covers up to 5,000 sq ft. Comes with a hose-on sprayer, just attach to your garden hose. No mixing, no measuring.
Q: Which ticks does it control, and does it help with fleas or mosquitoes?
A: Yep. Nix Ticks and cedarwood oil handle most common species of ticks, including Blacklegged Ticks, Lone Star Ticks, American Dog Ticks, and Brown Dog Ticks. It also controls common fleas and mosquitoes on contact and repels newcomers. One spray, multiple pests covered.
Q: Will it harm grass, gardens, or pollinators like bees?
A: Your lawn is totally fine. Just steer clear of flowering plants, succulents, or spots where pollinators are hanging out. We're after the pests, not the good bugs. When possible, select protected zones of your yard, versus blanket spraying, to reduce impacts to beneficial pollinators.
Q: When should I spray for best results, and can I apply before rain?
A: When ticks are active (typically spring through fall, above 40°F) and your yard is dry. Avoid applying before rain since it can wash the product away. Wait 24 hours after rainfall before treating.
