- Soy protein provides ready-to-use nitrogen, which helps boost overall growth.
- Composted turkey litter is an industrial by-product that provides nitrogen and other nutrients.

- Rock phosphate adds a boost of phosphorus to encourage root and fruit production.
- Sulfate of potash magnesia enhances growth and hardiness, with a dose of potassium, sulfur, and magnesium.
How to apply All Purpose Plant Food Mix
Mix
Determine how much fertilizer is needed.
- For containers: Mix 2 tablespoons of dry fertilizer per gallon of soil or potting mix before planting new containers. For existing containers, sprinkle 1 tablespoon per 4-inch pot diameter.
- For garden beds: Work dry plant food into the top 4 inches of soil, using 1 cup per 25 square feet.
- For trees and shrubs: Sprinkle 1 cup dry fertilizer onto the soil surface for every foot of branch diameter. This applies to established plants only; avoid fertilizing new shrubs and trees during the first year.
Rinse
Water the area thoroughly to set the soil.
Repeat
Reapply every 4–6 weeks.
Sunday Tip:
More is not better! Too much fertilizer can “burn” your plants, and improper application timing can reduce fruiting or cause unhealthy, excess growth. Follow the application rate carefully to give your plants what they need, when they need it.

All Purpose Plant Food Mix Application FAQs
When should I use
Garden plants can be fertilized multiple times throughout the growing season. The amount will vary depending on the type of plant you’re feeding, but it’s best to apply every 4-6 weeks, as instructed by the label.
How do I use this with other Sunday products? Why should I apply in this order?
Treat weeds, prepare new soil/potting mix, and plant before applying your Sunday garden fertilizer. Apply pest control last. Why? This prevents your feeding weeds and spraying new plants.
What if I apply out of order?
If you applied garden fertilizer first, treat weeds after those nutrients are watered in, mix in soil/potting mix with nutrients while planting, and continue to plant and seed your garden. Be careful not to apply weed control to garden plants or seeds.
