What are the Sunbelt states in the United States?
The Sunbelt stretches across the southern tier of the country: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California. These states share long growing seasons, intense summer heat, and warm-season grasses that stay active when northern lawns go dormant.
Why do Sunbelt lawns need special nutrients?
Longer growing seasons mean grass works overtime and burns through nutrients faster. Intense heat causes standard fertilizers to volatilize before grass absorbs them. Sunbelt Nutrients uses slow-release nitrogen that stays stable in high temps, plus seaweed for heat stress tolerance. Northern formulas spike and fade. This one keeps up.
Should I water my lawn after applying Sunbelt Nutrients?
Wait 24 hours before watering. The fertilizer needs time to dry and absorb into the grass blades. If your sprinklers run automatically, skip a cycle. Light watering after 24 hours helps move nutrients into the root zone.
What is the best time of day to apply Sunbelt Nutrients?
Early morning or evening when temps are below 85°F. Avoid midday heat. The fertilizer absorbs better when grass isn't stressed by sun, and you reduce evaporation. If you must apply during warm weather, water the lawn the day before.
How long after Sunbelt Nutrients can I apply my next fertilizer?
Wait 4-6 weeks between liquid applications. If you're switching to a different product like Active Lawn or Southeast Nutrients, the same timing applies. Stacking fertilizers too close together risks burning your lawn.
What will Sunbelt Nutrients do for my soil?
The seaweed extract supports root strength and heat tolerance, which helps grass pull nutrients more efficiently from soil. The potassium improves water management in the root zone. It's feeding the grass and supporting the soil biology that keeps roots healthy.

I started using Sunday this year and I love it so far! Great products that aren't full of harmful chemicals and they work!
