What is Bug Doom Home Insect Control?

Bug Doom Home Insect Control is a liquid ready-to-use outdoor insect control. It uses patented technology to control pests around your home’s perimeter and prevent pests from getting inside.

Powerhouse ingredients include pyrethrin (naturally derived from chrysanthemums) and canola oil, which treat infestations and prevent new ones without the residual effects of harsh, long-lasting pesticides.

What does it control?

Targeted insects include ants, beetles, bed bugs, caterpillars, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, kudzu bugs, millipedes, moths, pillbugs, spiders, stink bugs, and more.

How to apply Bug Doom Home Insect Control

1

Prepare for application

Do a quick perimeter walk around your home, garage, and other home structures to check for pest or infestation trouble spots.

Wear full-length clothing and close-toed shoes. You can wear eye protection and gloves if desired, too!

  1. Create a barrier around your home by spraying 1 foot up and 1 foot out from the foundation.
  2. Spot-treat any known infestation areas and around your patio as needed.

Save the sprayer for next time. Apply every four weeks during pest season to maintain a strong barrier. For problem areas, apply every two weeks.

Bug Doom Application FAQs

When should I use Bug Doom?

Pest control will likely need to be repeated throughout the growing season. The best time to treat outdoor pest issues is when they’re active in the spring and fall, or as a preventative measure throughout the growing season, spring through fall.

Treat your home barrier, entryways into the home, and problem areas within your home as directed by the label.

How do I use this with other Sunday products?

You can apply Bug Doom as needed, just let the application dry fully before applying any other products nearby. When possible, apply Sunday lawn products before applying Bug Doom. When applying Sunday pest control products, start with liquid repellent sprays, followed by Bug Doom, and end with dry baits for best results.

What if I apply out of order?

Simply let other liquid products dry, then apply Bug Doom. If pest bait was applied around where you need to spray Bug Doom, try to avoid bait areas when spraying or reapply bait if it gets wet.

Regardless of the order applied, we recommend letting Bug Doom dry for a few hours before doing anything else. Otherwise, water (or other liquid products) can interfere with the pest control’s ability to repel properly.
