Pet Protect FAQs

When should I use Pet Protect?

Use Pet Protect bug spray for dogs during the active pest season, or when your pet will be outdoors and exposed to fleas, ticks, or mosquitoes. Active pest season is typically spring–fall, but may be year-round in warmer regions.

Can Pet Protect be applied to cats and small dogs?

Pet Protect is designed for use on dogs 5 pounds and over. It is not recommended for use on cats or small dogs under 5 pounds.

Where do I store Pet Protect?

Store this product sitting upright with the cap closed tightly. Do not store in excessive heat or freezing temperatures.

How do I use this with other Sunday tick, mosquito, and flea control products?

You can apply Pet Protect and other Sunday pest control products simultaneously, as long as you’re not applying Pet Protect to your dog in an area where pest control was already applied. Keep your pet away from wet application areas until pest control products dry.
