    Living in San Antonio where we are under drought restrictions, managing a lawn is challenging. My Sunday plan supplemented with Drought Defense and Water Focus has produced amazing results on my turf. Add to that the ease and effectiveness of Weed Warrior on my rock beds, this company has a BIG fan.

    Texas Lawn

    It is super convenient to have your lawn treatment mailed to your door and ready for application. I find the hints for when and how to apply very helpful as well as the hints for lawn care. With all the news about rising prices of fertilizer I was worried my rates would change just prior to the spring season, but Sunday held the prices for the membership steady. I would love to tell you how great my lawn looks today, but here in central Texas I am just happy my lawn is still alive with the water restrictions in place.

    Texas = Hot

    Easy application and real time support, couldn’t be happier with the system. Had issues this past year with fungus growing, fixed with a better watering plan. Now my issue is the brutal Texas heat.

      Azle lawns often face heat stress during hot Texas summers. Drought makes proper watering crucial. Weeds like crabgrass thrive in warm climates. Warm-season grasses may go dormant during dry spells. Heavy rain can cause flooding in some areas. Sunday's soil test helps identify specific nutrient needs, addressing common Texas soil issues for healthier grass.

      Water deeply but less often to build stronger roots. Mow at the proper height for your grass type. Apply Sunday fertilizer according to your custom plan schedule. Control weeds in spring and fall. Consider overseeding thin areas in early fall. Test your soil to understand specific nutrient needs. For warm-season grasses common in Texas, focus on care during active growing months.

      Enter your address on Sunday's website to create a profile using local data. Measure your lawn size or use their mapping tool. Choose from options like Basic Plan, Keep & Protect with weed control, Grow & Renew with grass seed, or Lawn & Paws for pet owners. Complete your soil test for further customization. Sunday will adjust nutrients based on your lawn's specific needs.

      Start lawn treatments in early spring as temperatures reach above 50°F and grass begins growing actively. For warm-season Texas grasses, March to April is ideal for first fertilizer applications. Apply pre-emergent weed control in early spring before weeds appear. Sunday ships your custom plan products at the optimal times throughout your growing season, removing the timing guesswork.
